and so it begins...

It's an interesting thing, really. Blogging. Not necessarily something I ever really thought I would find myself doing, but fun all the same. But I thought it would be a nice thing for our little shop--to have an area where updates could be posted and so on. And I really do feel that this is going to be quite a journey, so it will be nice to have it all documented. For the memories, you know.

So, should you have been caught unaware, which most certainly you have been, this is really all for our new little etsy shop -- project8256. My sister and brother-in-law have decided to adopt from Ethiopia, and to assist with the funds I will be selling prints of original artwork, and greeting cards, on etsy. And part of the profits will go to a very deserving orphanage in Ethiopia, as well.

I suppose that's it for now. A little intro. The shop should be up and running within the next few days. Yay!
